A manhunt has been launched to find a creep who pretended to thank a care worker for her hard work during the pandemic before he licked her face. The 23-year-old care worker was filling her car with petrol at a garage on High Street in Brimington, Derbyshire, when the man suddenly approached her, said police. She was in her work uniform and police said he thanked her for her role in the fight against coronavirus before hugging her and licking her. Derbyshire Police released a CCTV still image of the suspect after the attack at 5.15pm last Tuesday. A spokesperson said: ‘She was wearing her work uniform and it is alleged that the man thanked her for being a care worker, hugged her and licked her face.
‘We want to speak to the man in these pictures in case he has information which could help with our inquiry.’
In the CCTV stills released by police, the suspect is wearing a black T-shirt with a grey hoodie over the top. It comes after it emerged a teenager allegedly spat on his hand then wiped it on a little girl’s face while she was out on a walk with her dad.
